Besides new vehicles we aim to optimise safety for whatever vehicle is already on the road. AI camera's can be of benefit here, we will check to what level and what retrofit regulations must be met or changed in order to make trucks and busses more safe
The ELMO remote controlled car has been introduced and we will support the testing to prepare for approval on the public road.
Our control room is an import mesure to mitigate risks and a focal point for data collection. This is where we test technology and train tele operators for the future needs.
The RET will select an automated vehicle for deployment at the airport, we host the testing of the vehicle at smart intersections before driving on the public road.

During their visit to Future Mobility Park we introduced students from technasium, HBO and Master students and international student programs to our future mobility concepts and gave them a great day out with lots of inspiration and examples of future forms of mobility.
In 2021, we piloted a delivery robot (Rosie) on the Erasmus University Rotterdam campus. In 2023, we continued with a follow-up project.
